Sweeet

My little Reni is becoming quit the baker. Reni is always asking my aunt Sissy (who watches the kids for me) to buy her the stuff to make cookies and bake cake. My aunt also loves to bake so she happily follows orders. Last week Reni wanted to make a cake, bake cookies and make cupcakes all at the same time. After much debate they compromised on cupcakes with pink icing. They were wonderful. She did a great job! She got to bring them home with her and she dumped the box getting out of the car.

Getting into the cabinet

This is what Eli learned today. While he was at my aunts house, he started finally crawling on all fours. He used that new learned knowledge to crawl straight to the cabinets and pulled himself up. Then he learned when he pulls on the knobs it makes the cabinet come open. Then you could see it register, "Hey, there is stuff in there!". Then he got busted. I love the look on his face. So innocent, so precious, so big.

Do, Re, Me

Serenity will be starting piano lessons on Monday. This is something that she has been wanting to do for a while and after grandma and grandpa got her a flat piano for her birthday we thought now would be a good time to start. She loves playing the one they got her and sings along with it. Surprisingly she has great tone and rhythm. She got that from her dad not me. I couldn't sing the right note if my life depended on it. I found out that lessons are very affordable and convenient. We will meet a with a lady in BA for 1 hour a week. I think she can handle that but we will soon find out.
